Before you begin
Put every flame out before you lie down: the candle, the incense and the burner are lit while you are getting ready for bed and out before the light goes off, and the ritual says so at the fourth stage. Burn incense only on its bowl, on a heat-resistant surface, in a ventilated room, and lift the stone and the flowers out of the candle before the flame reaches them. The roll-on is for the skin: patch-test if your skin is sensitive, keep it away from your eyes, and speak to a pharmacist first if you are pregnant or taking medication. The room spray is for the air, not bedding, skin or near a flame. The bath bomb and the bath dust make a bath slippery; take care getting in and out. The stones, the pendant, the mala and the wand are not toys and not for children. If somebody is having dreams that frighten or distress them, this collection is not the thing to reach for. Keep every item, and all packaging, away from babies, children and pets. This is a candle, some incense, a crystal, a fragrance and a notebook, put together so that one ordinary night gets paid attention to; nothing here treats, prevents or cures anything.
